I did not think Wike will suddenly become the Devil, this was a man who delivered 12 bridges-Lloyd

Former Rivers State House of Assembly member and current Local Government Chairman, Hon. Chidi Lloyd, expressed his perspective during an interview on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily show. He suggested that Governor Siminalayi Fubara might be under the influence of a group of politicians he referred to as “internally displaced,” pushing him to confront his predecessor, Nyesom Wike.

Lloyd was amazed at how swiftly these politicians have overlooked the successes and beneficial impacts of former Governor Nyesom Wike. He emphasized Wike’s achievements, pointing out that in just four years, Wike oversaw the building of 12 bridges and founded a cardiac hospital, appropriately named after a prominent individual.

Hon. Chidi Lloyd had stated, “I ordinarily did not think — would not have thought that Governor — former Governor Nyesom Wike will all of a sudden become the devil himself today, this was a man in 4 years, he built — he delivered 12 bridges; built a cardiovascular hospital that was named after our…. That’s what I’m saying, I said — I did say here in my opening speech that there is a vicious attack by politicians who are displaced to come back to see how they can cause pandemonium in the family, and it does appear they are succeeding, because what we should be talking now in Rivers State should be development…”
