“When I heard people who I respect so much say certain things about Afrobeats, I felt really bâd. I wanted to say something, but I had to restrain myself because of the respect I have for them. We artistes should respect afrobeats. We shouldn’t downgrade it. We are shouting the country is bâd, the government is bâd, but this very afrobeats we are downgrading is our source of happiness and a source of income for many people .
