During the drinks break, Cameron Green, in a gesture of recognition, presented Kohli with the orange cap for becoming the leading run-scorer in IPL 2024.
Virat Kohli’s stellar batting performances had propelled him to the top of the charts, with consecutive half-centuries contributing significantly to RCB’s competitive total of 182 for 6 in 20 overs.
Kohli’s journey to IPL 2024 began with a modest 21-run knock against Chennai Super Kings, followed by an impressive 49-ball 77 against Punjab Kings. In the match against KKR, Kohli remained unbeaten with 83 runs off 59 balls, adorned with four fours and as many sixes.
During an interview with commentators after the innings, Cameron Green was given the task of presenting the orange cap to Kohli.
