Actress Varsha Bollamma from Kannada says she wants to watch Virat Kohli win the IPL championship

Actress Varsha Bollamma from Kannada has stated that she has always wanted to watch ace cricketer Virat win the IPL title.

Varsha has earlier said that she had a celebrity crush on Kohli and that she used to cut out newspaper photos of the star player. In his storied career, Kohli has accomplished almost everything, with the exception of leading the Royal Challengers Bangalore to an IPL championship.

Despite Kohli’s incredible performance last year, which included 639 runs at an average of 53.25 and a strike rate of 139.82, RCB finished sixth and did not make the playoffs.

Varsha shared her fantasy in a social media video that went viral, adding, “Virat Kohli carrying the cup, that is it. IPL viewing began for him. My one and only wish is that he would fulfill it this time. E sala.”

Kohli is all-time top run scorer with 7,263 runs in 237 matches at an average of over 37, including seven hundred and fifty half-centuries, despite failing to win the championship.

The 35-year-old also owns the record for most runs scored in a single season. Since the league’s founding in 2008, Kohli has been a member of the team, and he has participated in the championship game three times: in 2009, 2011, and 2016.

Due to the recent birth of his second kid, Kohli is temporarily sidelined and will not be playing in the upcoming India-England Test series.

The opening match of the 2024 Indian Premier League will see Kohli’s RCB play Dhoni’s CSK at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on March 22.

Though Faf du Plessis will take over as captain of the RCB in 2022, replacing Kohli, the match is still referred to as a contest between two Indian legends.
