Tinubu: He’s Deceiving Himself, I’ll Say It Again, The North Will Not Vote For Him Again-Pa Adebanjo

The Leader of Pan Yoruba Socio-cultural organisation, Afenifere, Pa Ayo Adebanjo, has urged President Bola Tinubu to stop deceiving him to please the north, stating it clearly that the north will not vote for him again in 2027 presidential election.

Speaking further, Pa Adejobi noted that northerners are pretending to support him, urging president Tinubu to take the bull by the horn and leave a legacy behind, by creating a new constitution for the country.

According to The Sun, the Yoruba leader made this disclosure when he was speaking to a journalist. He made it known that even if northerners refuse to vote for him for a second term in 2027, he would have written his name in gold.

Pa Adebanjo said: “He (Tinubu) is deceiving himself! I’ll say it again, the North will not vote for him again because all that he’s doing now is not favourable to them. Let him know they’re pretending that they are supporting him. He should take the bull by the horn and leave a legacy behind. He should go the whole hog and create a new constitution.”

Furthermore, he urged the Nigerian press to do the needful, by putting pressure on President Bola Tinubu to do the right thing, urging him to take the 2014 National Conference report and also take the El-rufai recommendation.

In addition, Pa Adebanjo urged the president to set up a committee to harmonise the two reports within three days and let the operation of the new constitution begin between now and October.
