“The problem with the world is that the intelligent people are full of doubts and the stupid ones are full of confidence.”

“The problem with the world is that the intelligent people are full of doubts and the stupid ones are full of confidence.”

That’s not my handwriting, it’s Charles Bukowski’s.

And I know you already know where I’m going with this.

I read a post on thePastor Paul and the Law lady matter and I came across comments like:

“Why she go dey study law and she no go fit speak simple English?”

“How she wan take defend her clients?”

Are all of you mad in the brain?

You think everything that comes to you naturally is the same for others?

People have their strengths and weaknesses.

And it’s usually different for different people.

Some students are good at maths but not so good at English

Some rappers can freestyle but can’t write good bars

Some full backs have experience but not necessarily the speed needed for that wing.

To me that’s not such a bad hing as far as you can work around it.

It’s all about finessing.

The truth is there are professions, positions or passion you’ll have and you just have to function anyhow.

Maybe by leaning into our strengths more or by killing that weakness.

From my experience tho, killing your weakness is the hardest

Our people say A he-goat cannot lose its stench just like that.

Some people’s weakness is speaking confidence, for some it’s writing ability, for some it’s staying focused, for some it’s multi-tasking, for some it’s looking people in the eye and a lot more.

You might be lucky to have all of these things.

But not everyone does, including myself.

However, that doesn’t mean man’s not gonna chase his goals, get the bag and level up.

Imagine that woman quitting on her dreams to study law just because she doesn’t speak English so fluently.

(Funny thing is, in private she’ll be a better speaker than what we watched… it’s just a confidence obstacle)

And life is about overcoming dem obstacles.

One other thing to remember is this
