A Nigerian nurse has announced via the microblogging platform X that running a paternity test or DNA test without your wife’s knowledge is grounds for divorce.
Paternity fraud and DNA tests have been trending for quite some time now and have required different opinions and thoughts from internet users.
Sharing via her page on the platform, she mentioned that couples should respect and trust who they are married to.
Adding that it’s only when you are married to an unserious partner, such doubts should arise and you should also be ready to dance to the tune.
Her tweet read;
“Running paternity test/ DNA without your wife’s consent/in secrecy, is a solid ground for DIVORCE!!! If it’s a woman who has never given you any reason to DOUBT her!!! she should do you an extensive favor of NEVER SEEING THOSE KIDS AGAIN! If you know who you married and have genuine love for them, you won’t do such stupid thing! If you marry rubbish man or woman,,, you should be ready to dance to the garbage tune.”
While some internet users agreed with her, others suggested that DNA tests should be conducted on both parents.

@boss_humprey: If you are doing paternity test, be sure to do maternity tests for your wife as well. Because some persons (nurses) tend to switch babies at birth. So it is important to get the full gist since you decided to put on your investigative hat.
@ellavenjearbo: I think DNA test is very important, but for peace to rain, do it without her knowledge. If the kid is yours, branch and buy her gift and flowers as a quiet apology for doubting her loyalty but if it is not yours, scatter everywhere.
