Our dialect is called UKWUANI and it is IGBO.

The reason why we are called Ukwuani is because our region is low land area.
You can’t find hills or mountains in our land and that’s why our ancestors called our land Ukwuani land which means LOW LAND.

We still have other brothers in Anioma and their region is called ENU ANI and when coined together will give you ENUANI.

ENUANI means HIGH LAND. Their location is high that’s why they’re called Enuani and ours is low land that’s why we’re called Ukwuani.

Our dialect is called Ukwuani because that is what our region is called.
Our identity is Ukwuani because that’s what our region is called.

But at the end, we are all IGBOS because our dialect is IGBO.

ENUANI dialect is called Enuani because that is what their region is called and it is IGBO too.

According to our Ukwuani elders…our ancestors that founded our communities are the first settlers in Ukwuani land.

Can a first settler who is from bini forget his bini language and adopt the language of the IGBO speaking people that came to join them? Capital NO.

How can hundreds, if not thousands of people that ran out from bini who are first settlers of Ukwuani land suddenly forget their bini language and adopt IGBO language?
Impossible and it does not hold water.

Any land that IGBO language is spoken is prove that IGBOS are the first to occupy that land and hence, the land is IGBO land.

We Ukwuani people are IGBOS and there is nothing anyone can do about it.
