A recent post by Nigeria businessman and activist, Mahdi Shehu has accused the members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for allegedly exhibiting envy towards former Governor Peter Obi’s borehole donations in certain Northern regions.
According to Shehu’s post, several APC stalwarts have taken to the media to criticize the quality of the boreholes donated by Obi, particularly in parts.Shehu goes further to describe the critics as “empty vessels” who are allegedly engaged in the misappropriation of public funds.
“APC IS ENVIOUS OF OBI’S BoREHOLES: Funnily APC failed Stalwarts are all-over the media complaining on the quality of boreholes donated by Peter obi in some parts of the North. Atleas, he has done that not as part of constituency projects. Nor does he control any vote. This is at a time when most of those complaining of Obi’s donation have not visited their constituencies since after the last elections.
“Those complaining are the same empty vessels that are busy stealing and diverting budgetted and appropriated funds. It is an extreme case of shamelessness for any APC member to complain of Obi’s generosity and magnanimity. Well done, Peter Obi”.
