A Chieftain of the PDP, Chief Dele Momodu has expressed displeasure that the crisis in the party has not been resolved one year after the last general elections. In a veiled reference to the Minister of the FCT, Nyesom Wike, Momodu wondered why Wike is still being allowed to dictate to the party even after boasting he will work for the ruling party in the 2027 elections. According to him, the PDP has to accept the truth that until they uproot Wike, there will be no rest in the party.
Speaking in an interview in Channels TV, Dele Momodu said, “Anybody who loves his/her party should be concerned that over one year after last presidential election, we are still allowing one man to dictate to our party. A man who has since moved on to work for another party and boasting that he will work for the party in the 2027 presidential election. I think until we accept the truth that if we do not uproot this fellow, you know, it’s like a bone that is stuck in your neck. Until you get it out, there will be no rest. And I’ve said this on your platform several times that if I had the power, I would have disciplined some people.”
“You can’t work against your own party openly, I mean, any self-respecting person, if you are not satisfied where you are, you resign and go away. The party is not owned by you, the party made you everything that you are. Everything!”

Dele Momodu should stop crying ! If he does not have power to uproot the fellow from PDP, Dele Momodu should remain silence or leave PDP.
