Sani Reacts After A Repentant Boko Haram Member Who Joined Army Slitted Woman’s Throat In Enugu

One of the members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and former Kaduna lawmaker who represented Kaduna Central at the National Assembly, Senator Shehu Sani has reacted after a repentant Boko Haram member who was enlisted into the Nigerian army slitted a woman’s throat in Enugu state.

According to SAHARA REPORTERS, Private Mohammed Adamu with service number 21NA/80/0365 has been identified as the alleged killer of the woman who was stabbed inside the 82nd (Airborne and Amphibious) Division of the Nigerian Army.

According to a source who spoke to newsmen, the young woman was stabbed and the knife used in killing her was dropped off close to her body.

The Source was quoted as saying;

“A lifeless body of a lady who was stabbed by an unknown person was discovered yesterday in 82 division barracks. The knife used in killing the same lady was dropped off close to the body while the body was wrapped with the hijab she was wearing”.

However, senator Shehu Sani has now reacted after the report surfaced online.

In the post that he shared on his official X handle on Sunday, he said enlisting a repentant Boko Haram member into the military was despicable and careless.

Senator Shehu Sani wrote on his page;

“Enlisting that repentant Boko Haram man into the military was a despicable, careless and tragic act”.
