Nurse Bisi whose real name is Chinonso Arubayi was born on May 24, 1987, in Warri, Delta State. She had her early education in a local high school in Lagos State where she grew up with her parents. She also went to Nnamdi Azikiwe University where she bagged her degree in Mass Communication. During her University days, she was a presenter at the campus radio station.

Nurse Bisi also holds a certificate in film producing from the School of Media Studies, at the Pan Atlantic University.

Nurse Bisi began her career as a beautiful model when she contested and won the Miss Teen Nigeria Beauty Pageant in 2005. Later on, she was featured in the popular Nollywood, The Johnson in 2014, before she started writing and producing for Consolidated Media Associates, owners of Sound City, Trybe TV, and Spice TV on the shows.

Chinonso came to the limelight after she played a lead role in Mary Remmy Njoku’s feature film production, Beyond Pardon in 2020.
