“I write for alot of artists but I can’t call their names because it will bring alot of controversîes. I also helped C Kay’s song “Love Kwantinti” go viral in Ghana when he featured me on the remix. Africans don’t yet fully understand about songwriting. When you’re an artist and a song is being written for you, people will think you’re not talented. People don’t yet understand that one person can’t do everything. When you’re global, you won’t have all the time to write so somebody will write for you while you focus on performance.” Kuami Eugene

Most people don’t understand what it means for an artist to write for another. An artist for another doesn’t mean the performing artist is not talented.
