The member representing Anambra East Constituency in the State House of Assembly, Honourable Obi Nweke, has commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s administration for the revitalization of the state pipe borne water scheme.

The lawmaker, who disclosed this while speaking to newsmen in Awka, noted that the revitalization of the pipe borne water project will help to reduce water borne diseases and restore cleanliness in the state.

He noted that the move has indeed shown that Governor Soludo has the interest of Ndi Anambra and other residents of the state at heart.

Honourable Nweke called on Ndi Anambra and other stakeholders, especially Ndi Igwe and Presidents-General to ensure that they safeguard all government facilities in their various communities.

According to the lawmaker, the current Anambra State House of Assembly will continue to enact and implement laws that will help the executive arm to deliver dividends of democracy to Ndi Anambra.

He assured the people of Anambra East Local Government Area that he will always work with all the relevant stakeholders in the area to bring dividends of democracy, as well as participatory legislation to them at all times.
