Well, this is my own opinion, it doesn’t mean I hate any state or any tribe in Nigeria. It is my only advice to Ndígbo in Lagos, whether they choose to adhere to it or not.

Stop investing heavily in Lagos or any part of the country. Start investing in your land as no other tribe is investing in your state. Remember your investment is not safe in any part of the country. You saw how Wike destroyed a multi-million estate belonging to an Igbo man, the only reason being, ‘how can an Igbo man acquire all these hectares of land in Abuja?’ And also, you see how the Lagos government shifted the initial plan of construction of the Superhighway so that it will not affect his tribesman or friend’s business, rather they shifted it where it will affect Igbo man’s multi-million dollar business, Landmark Resort Beach.

You may not understand this until it affects your business, then you will start crying. We are not asking you not to live in Lagos or own a business in Lagos, but what we are saying is for you to invest more in Igboland.

There are more than 50 million Igbo who live in the South East and South South, and also add another 30 million non-Igbo living in South East and South South, so there’s no kind of business you establish in the South East that will not flourish.
