“With Trevor Noah’s achievements in the entertainment industry, it baffles me why South Africans don’t celebrate him as the biggest entertainer in the world. It’s an African culture to celebrate others and I admire that about Nigerians, Ghanaians and Ivory Coast. In Ivory Coast, we have guys like Fally Ipupa who is so big in his country. In Nigeria they celeberate every entertainer especially the Big-3 who are Wizkid, Davido and Burna Boy. But then we in South Africa have Trevor Noah who’s doing so well in the entertainment industry but South Africans don’t really know his worth. He’s one the biggest comedians in the world and we ought to celebrate him. There was even a time they did a campaign with him on tourism and South Africans were complaining about the amount he received as if he wasn’t worth it. We South Africans don’t love ourselves and I think we need to learn from Nigerians how to love each other.
