Popular football stats website, whoscored.com has ranked the top ten best players in the English Premier League so far this season based on the players’ overall performance ratings, and it may come as a little surprise that Arsenal star, Bukayo Saka is the player topping the list.
The 22-year-old has helped Arsenal mount a title challenge that could drag on till the end of the season and so far this season, he has scored an impressive 15 goals and provided 9 assists in the English Premier League. He is rated 7.66 and has won the Man of the Match award 6 times.
The second player on this list is Manchester City defensive midfielder, Rodri. The Spanish midfielder has been phenomenal this season and has also scored some important goals for the English Premier League club. With his outstanding defensive performance and important goals, he has a Whoscored rating of 7.59 having scored seven goals and provided seven assists in the English Premier League so far.
Manchester City star, Phil Foden comes third on the list with a Whoscored rating of 7.52 having scored 16 goals and provided 7 assists in the league so far.
Chelsea star, Cole Palmer is the fourth player on the list. The former Manchester City star has been phenomenal since moving to Stamford Bridge last summer and without his goal contributions, Chelsea would surely be in the bottom half of the table. So far this season, he has scored 20 goals and provided 9 assists, earning him a rating of 7.42.
Manchester United captain, Bruno Fernandes is the fifth player on the list. The Portuguese midfielder has been in incredible form of late and his performance has been one of few shining lights in an underwhelming season for the Red Devils. So far, he has scored 10 goals and provided 7 assists in the English Premier League. He has a Whoscored rating of 7.40.
