Former Real Madrid striker, Karim Benzema, shared a heartfelt moment with his ex-manager, Jose Mourinho, as they reunited at Anthony Joshua’s victory over Francis Ngannou in Saudi Arabia on Friday.
Benzema, who played for Real Madrid from 2009 to 2023, before joining Al-Ittihad, was joined by Mourinho at the event. The duo witnessed Joshua’s triumph over Ngannou in a thrilling match.
Despite recent speculations about Benzema’s dissatisfaction at Al-Ittihad, where he has scored 12 goals in 23 games since his transfer, the 36-year-old clarified that he has no grievances with manager Marcelo Gallardo.
During his tenure at Real Madrid, Benzema netted a remarkable 350 goals, with 78 of those goals being under the guidance of Mourinho.
