Thursday’s 2:0 victory over London rivals Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge pushed the team to 8th on the log, three points behind 6th placed Manchester United with four games remaining.

A top six finish and European qualification will certainly come off as a great turnaround for Mauricio Pochettino’s men following a very difficult season where they faced severe criticism for poor performances despite spending over 1 billion pounds in the transfer market in recent times.

1. Chelsea are currently unbeaten at Home against the top 6 this season. Yes, no top 6 team has beaten Chelsea at Stamford Bridge this season.

2. So far Chelsea have played 17 home games and despite their well-publicized terrible season, they’ve only lost 4. Just four teams have a better home record than Chelsea in the league this season and they are the current top 4 and Newcastle United.

3. Last season, Chelsea ended the campaign with a total of 44 points. However, they have already amassed 51 points this season with 4 games still left to go.

4. Last season, Chelsea scored a total of 38 goals across 38 Premier League matches. This season however, they’ve scored 65 goals already and with 4 games still left to play, there exist the possibility of doubling last season’s goals tally.

5. In the 2022-23 campaign, Chelsea had Kai Havertz as their Premier League highest goal scorer with 7 league goals. This season, Chelsea’s Cole Palmer is in contention for the golden boot with 20 goals, Nikolas Jackson is at 11 league goals while Raheem Sterling has 6 goals.
