Okolo: Instead of going to the Army who obviously declared him wanted he went to the Police – Jonathan Onoja

Security Analyst, Jonathan Onoja has publicly claimed that the Delta State Monarch Clement Ognenerukevwe Okolo shouldn’t have handed himself over to the Police when he was declared wanted by the Nigerian Military. He stated that the King of the Ewu-Urohobo Kingdom should have gone to the Nigerian Military who put him out on the wanted list some days ago.

I believe it is no longer news that Clement Ognenerukevwe Okolo immediately handed himself over to the Nigerian Police after it came to his knowledge that he was declared wanted in a list published by the Nigerian Military some days ago.

Jonathan Onoja has made it clear that Clement Ognenerukevwe who is the king of the Ewu-Urohobo Kingdom will be able to give some further information to the authorities on how to get the other suspects on the wanted list. The Security Analyst said that since he is the King, he can able to provide useful information about the whereabouts of these wanted individuals.

Quoting some of his statements from an interview he had with Arise News Television today, he said: “Very funny enough, instead of going to the Army who obviously declared him wanted he went to the Police. To me, I believe that doesn’t go well because the Army was looking for you and as a Traditional ruler, you were aware that Soldiers were killed. You need to present yourself not just to the police but the Nigerian Military and thereafter you can be referred back to the Police”.
