Moment Cameroon players tried touching Super Falcons’ net over alleged use of JUJU

In a video that has since gone viral on social media, Super Falcons star, Asisat Oshoala, and her teammates had to stop a Cameroonian player from charging into the net to touch it amid fear and alleged use of black magic also known as “JUJU”.

Players from the Nigeria women’s national team and their Cameroonian counterparts got into a bizzare altercation during their Olympic Games qualifier on Monday.

The Super Falcons overcame the Indomitable Lionesses to advance to the fourth round of the 2024 Olympic Games qualifiers, thanks to an early strike by Esther Okoronkwo.

The record African champions returned to Abuja after drawing 0-0 in Cameroon in the first leg.

After falling behind early on, Cameroon did everything they could to equalize, resulting in a brawl between players from both teams.

In a video that has since gone viral on social media, Super Falcons star, Asisat Oshoala, and her teammates had to stop a Cameroonian player from charging into the net to touch it amid fear and alleged use of black magic also known as “JUJU”.

The event made for an unusual sight during a highly competitive encounter at Abuja’s Mashood Abiola Stadium.
