A lady has left many surprised after revealing that she contracted a skin infection, Molluscum Contagiosum, from a wig she bought online.

The lady had to be hospitalized after her body was covered with lesions due to the disease she contracted from the wig.

In a video she shared online, she explained that she purchased the wig on Amazon, unaware that it was infected.

She further warned people against buying wigs from the platform, revealing that she has to wait for the lesions to disappear.

Molluscum contagiosum is a skin infection caused by the molluscum contagiosum virus, a type of poxvirus. This results in a typically benign and mild skin condition, marked by growths or lesions that can appear anywhere on the body.
