According to a report from Newsmen, Nollywood actor Tochukwu, popularly known as TC Virus, has recounted a harrowing ordeal following a tragic boat accident that claimed the life of fellow actor Junior Pope and others. The distressing incident unfolded in Anambra State as the actors were returning from a film location. Amidst the chaos that ensued, TC Virus found himself clinging to a rope, fighting for survival.
However, the aftermath of the accident took an unexpected turn for TC Virus, as film director Adanma Luke allegedly sought to have him arrested based on accusations leveled by the boat operator. The operator claimed that TC Virus’s actions, particularly standing up and obstructing his view during the voyage, played a role in the unfortunate collision. These serious allegations prompted Luke to enlist the assistance of the Marine police.
In a recent Instagram Live session, TC Virus vehemently refuted the accusations against him, expressing incredulity at the notion that his actions could have contributed to the tragic incident. He raised doubts about the competence of the boat operator, questioning the plausibility of his view being obstructed by TC Virus’s slender frame. TC Virus’s impassioned defense has ignited discussions surrounding issues of safety and accountability in such perilous situations.
During the Instagram Live session, TC Virus boldly asserted, “Adanma Luke asked the Marine police to arrest me because the boat operator was lying that I stood up during the trip so he could not see the oncoming boat.
“As slim as I am, I stood in front of the boat and you can’t see, are you okay? You who’s a pilot.”
