“Igbos Can Only Attain Presidency Through APC” – Senator Utazi
Chukwuka Utazi, the former senator representing Enugu North senatorial zone, asserts that Ndigbo can only achieve the Nigerian presidency through the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Utazi, who recently switched from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling APC, encourages Ndigbo to engage with the APC to increase their chances of producing a president for Nigeria.
The former Enugu State transport commissioner argues that the South East could only be considered for the vice presidency when power shifts to the North in 2031. Subsequently, they can vie for the presidency when it rotates to the South.
He emphasizes, “If we come together and actively engage in APC, we stand a chance to secure the presidency. Merely making noise won’t suffice; we need to be proactive. Joining APC now is crucial for our political aspirations.
