If You Take Away Obi, His Followers And Supporters From The LP, There Is Nothing Like LP, Osuntokun

According to The Sun report, Akin Osuntokun, the former Director-General of the 2023 Obi/Datti Presidential Campaign Council, expressed his view that without Peter Obi and his followers, as well as supporters from the Labour Party, the party itself would cease to exist. He lamented the Labour Party’s underwhelming role in the last general election outcome. Therefore, he suggested taking things one step at a time to observe how events unfold.

Akin Osuntokun said, “I don’t like building people into larger-than-life phenomena, but you know that without Peter Obi, there is no Labour Party in this electoral circle. If you take away Peter Obi, his followers, and supporters from the Labour Party, essentially there is nothing like the Labour Party as far as I can see it. If you look at the outcome of the elections, it says all you need to know about the party. The role of the Labour Party in the outcome of the elections is disappointing. So, we will just take one step at a time and see what goes.”
