BBNaija 2020 winner and singer Laycon in a latest post on social media recalled how he used toilet water to soak garri during his university days.
Laycon made this known to all and sundry while describing one of his lowest days in life as person before he broke into the limelight.
Laycon who is now a master’s degree holder from University of Portsmouth, UK uttered that during his undergraduate days in the University of Lagos (UNILAG) there was a day in 2013 that he was really starved more than being hungry.
The reality TV star added that he was the only one left in his at Shodeinde hostel that weekend.
He further added that he was left with no choice but to soak his Garri that has no sugar with toilet tap water
He concluded that soaking the Garri with toilet tap water was the worst ever in his life and resulted in him crying.
He wrote; “One of my lowest lows was using shodeinde hostel toilet water to soak garri in 2013. I was alone in my wing that weekend, and I was starving. I wasn’t hungry o, I was starving. So I soaked Garri with no sugar and used toilet tap water to drink it… as I Dey soak the garri, water dey commot for my eyes.”
