“It was my mum’s idea for me to stóp school though I was very intelligent. I had an album and it was platinum already, thank God and I was still trying to be regular in school. So one day I was getting ready for school, she came to my room and she saw me putting my gûn into my backpack. Shocked, she said “do you wanna bring that with you to school?” And I asked if she didn’t want me to take it along and she thought about it and said I do. Then I put the gûn back in my backpack cuz she actually bought it for me for self-protection. So about 2 minutes later, she walked back to my room and said “you ain’t going to school no more.” Lil Wayne
