Fubara, Diri and other PDP Governors in a closed-door meeting in Abuja.

Governors representing the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are currently in session at the Akwa Ibom governor’s lodge in Abuja.

The purpose of the meeting, held prior to the PDP caucus meeting slated for 8 p.m. tonight, remains undisclosed.

Among those in attendance are six out of the 11 governors, namely Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State, Douye Diri of Bayelsa State, Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State, Bala Muhammed of Bauchi State, Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State, and Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State.

The forthcoming caucus meeting is anticipated to include governors, national assembly leaders affiliated with the PDP, select members of the Board Of Trustees, and certain members of the Peoples Democratic Party’s National Working Committee (NWC).

As discussions unfold behind closed doors, speculation arises regarding the focal points of the convened assembly.

According to Channels Television, the significance of this preliminary gathering hints at potentially crucial matters to be addressed within the broader caucus meeting later tonight.
