EFCC Shares Photo Of Bobrisky In Their Custody, Says He’ll Be Charged To Court

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have said that popular Nigerian crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, best known as Bobrisky, would be charged to court over his alleged involvement in Naira abuse.

The 31-year-old was summoned by the EFCC following a video report capturing him spraying and displaying bundles of fresh Naira notes during the premiere of the movie “Ajakaju,” produced by Nollywood actress and producer Eniola Ajao. The incident occurred at the Film One Circle Mall in Lekki, Lagos on March 24, 2024.

Further scrutiny revealed that Bobrisky allegedly engaged in similar acts at various event centers and gatherings on different occasions.

Responding to the Commission’s invitation, Bobrisky presented himself at the Lagos Zonal Command of the EFCC on the morning of Wednesday, April 4, 2024, for interrogation and provided his statement voluntarily.

While sharing a photo of Bobrisky on their Facebook page, EFCC revealed that an investigation have been launched on his case and he would be charged to court once investigation is completed.
