Gulf Oil Lubricants India, one of the sponsors of Chennai Super Kings (CSK), has dropped MS Dhoni and other players of the team from its advertising campaign ahead of IPL 2024. According to reports, the Golf has also encouraged CSK players to focus on their practice sessions.
Gulf Oil Lubricants India, a leading company in the Indian lubricants industry, they are delighted to announce their innovative campaign called “Gulf Unstoppable Army” for this T20 season. “Etihad was named the official sponsor of Chennai Super Kings.”
CSK will play the first match of IPL 2024 against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on Friday, March 22.
Gulf carrier Etihad Airways on Thursday inked a deal with Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to become its official sponsor. The carrier said the partnership will cover CSK’s programs and platforms, while Etihad’s logo will be displayed on the jerseys of its players.
The collaboration with the five-time Indian Premier League (IPL) champions comes after Etihad roped in Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif as its brand ambassador, it said.
De told PTI in an interaction
“So, the investment that we are announcing today is about CSK. Cricket is a huge part of this country and deepening that relationship for us is super important,”
The partnership with CSK was revealed at the Kalaivanar Arangam in Chennai in the presence of team officials and CSK players. CSK players have attended the Etihad cabin crew on stage wearing their new jerseys and displaying the airline’s logo.
De said.
“It is going to be a pretty deep partnership and we are going to unravel it slowly like a nice Bollywood movie unravelled itself,”
“In the initial part, we are going to have visibility in the stadium through a hospitality suite. We’re going to be the sponsors for the T-shirt (and) the back of the T-shirt. So that’s what how we going to kick it off,”
