Best Dressed Female Award To Bobrisky Was A Trick – Organiser

In a leaked voice note conversation with controversial singer Portable, Nollywood actress Eniola Ajao offered a heartfelt apology for the uproar surrounding the ‘Best Dressed Female‘ award given to Bobrisky at the premiere of her movie.

Acknowledging the intentional nature of the act, Ajao admitted that the decision to award Bobrisky was made in a bid to generate buzz and promotion for her movie project.

Expressing remorse and nearly in tears, Ajao revealed the desperation behind her actions, citing an investment of over N200 million in her new film. She emphasized that the lack of support from other quarters led her to take such a controversial step.

I am so sorry; the deed has been done. It was not a mistake because I am not a child. It was an intentional act; I have spent over N200M on the film. I know everybody is upset, it was because I just wanted people to talk about the movie because I was not getting help anywhere. The help I didn’t get was why I did it. I didn’t know it would escalate to this point,” she expressed.
