Dangote Crashes Diesel Price To N1,000

Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a further reduction in the price of diesel.
A few weeks ago, when it commenced operation, Dangote Petroleum Refinery pegged the price of diesel as N1,200.
While rolling out the products, the refinery supplied at a substantially reduced price of N1,200 per litre three weeks ago.

Gunmen Abduct 2 FRSC Personnel In Ebonyi

The Ebonyi command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) says gunmen have abducted two of its personnel along the Abakaliki-Enugu federal highway.
Henry Igwe, FRSC sector commander in Ebonyi, who briefed journalists on Tuesday in Abakaliki, the state capital, said the two officers were abducted on March 8.
Igwe said they were abducted while returning to Enugu after concluding their duties at the FRSC office in Nkalagu.
Ex-ADP Candidate, Okoh, Ward Executive Members Defect To APC In Abia

The 2023 House of Assembly candidate of the Action Democratic Party (ADP) for Bende North Constituency in Abia State, Hon. Chidiebere Okoh, and teeming supporters across the five electoral wards that form the state constituency, have defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Among them were the ward chairmen, youth, and women leaders of the ADP.
Speaking at an event held in Okoko Item Civic Hall on Sunday, Okoh stated that he was not joining the APC solely to contest elections under its platform, but rather to team up with the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu, and the lawmaker representing Abia North Senatorial District in the Nigerian Senate, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu.
Why PDP Has Not Sanctioned Wike- Ologbondiyan

A former National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Kola Ologbondiyan, has explained why the party is yet to take any serious action against one of its ex-presidential aspirants and current Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike.
The appointment of Wike as the FCT Minister had raised questions within the PDP, with some accusing the ex-Rivers governor of forming alliance with the All Progressives Congress (APC) under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
However, the PDP has yet to take any disciplinary action against Wike.
