A Lot Of People Come Back From Work And Want To Serve Dinner, Next Thing They Do Is To On AC-Adelabu

Minister of power, Adebayo Adelabu, has tackled some Nigerians who switch on their refrigerators and air conditioners while leaving their home for work.

His statement is coming after the Federal Government increased electricity tariff.

It is no longer news that NERC recently approved the increase on electricity tariff from an initial N68 per kilowatt to N225 per kilowatt.

However, the Minister of Power has now spoken about the increase.

According to THE GUARDIAN, Adelabu said many Nigerians consume power excessively due to its affordability in the country. He said power is cheap hence the reason Nigerians consume it anyhow.

Adelabu said a lot of people will come back from work and when they want to serve dinner, they switch on the air conditioner to be cooling.

He was quoted as saying

“A lot of people come back from work and they want to serve dinner, the next thing they do is to switch on the AC to be cooling”.
